Searching For Sasquatch

In late may of 2009 I took a trip about 90-mins northwest of the Comox Valley.I brought with me a recording of an alleged sasquatch call.i reached my destination at about 10:30pm,it was very dark with a slight breeze ,i played back the recording for about 2-minutes and then listened ,i did this about 3-times before i heard a loud crashing sound in the tree's,it sounded like someone stepping on fallen branches,i heard this for about 10-seconds and then it stopped.I again played backed the recording, but did not hear anything at that spot again.I drove about another 1km up the gravel road playing my recording with no other sounds coming back from the woods.I did this same trip again in early june/2009 at aprox 1am ,i had no luck hearing anything that night.I am going to try this again in the comox lake/cruickshank area, there have been a lot of sightings and rock throwing reports in this area over recent years.I will update my findings when that trip is completed...Picture above was taken near Little Anderson lake in the Comox Valley.

Rock Throwing.

The spring and summer of 2006 had some interesting events which happened around the Comox valley, I will start with my personal experience. It was mid may and I was camping with my girlfriend around the middle of Wolf Lake, following the Duncan Bay Main. It was just getting dark. We were cooking a couple of trout, that we had just caught, over our camp fire. From behind we heard a couple of large splashes,it sounded like large boulders being thrown into the lake. I turned toward the sound with my flashlight, panning it over the water where I saw ripples,I then shinned my light on the tree line, the brush was to heavy to see anything . We talked ourselves into the idea that it was probably just a beaver. In all the years I have fished and picked wild mushrooms I have never seen or heard a beaver on that lake. That same year during the summer there were 2 reports at Willimar lake, which is situated just above comox lake. In one report at willimar lake the campers were scared off by what they reported as " rocks being thrown at there campers ". Another rock throwing report came in from Forbush lake which is located just above willimar lake, with this report there was also a possible sighting. In the research I have done, rock throwing seems to be a trait of Sasquatch and could possibly be used as defense against someone intruding on there territory...Picture above was taken at Wolf Lake in the Comox Valley.

Comox Lake Sasquatch

In 1993 I was driving with 2 of my brothers near comox lake when in front of us a Sasquatch walked across the road .It was during the early morning hours and we could see it from head to toe in our high beams approx 20 to 25 feet in front of our vehicle. We came to two conclusions, it was someone in a suit or it was a Sasquatch? I Remember looking at it from head to toe and recalled it was pretty much all covered in fur or hair ,even the tops of it's feet were covered. I have told many people my story over the years with mixed results, some laugh ,some ask me if it could have been a bear,lol....that one kills me.I've seen many bear and know beyond a shadow of any doubt that what I saw was definitely not a bear. Some people seem very interested in what I saw. I have even told my story to a wildlife biologist. Over the years I have thought many times about that night and it has truly made me a believer .Picture above was taken near Comox Lake (Courtenays side)in the Comox Valley.
